Farum Midtpunkt au Danemark - 1970-1975 - Ensemble semi-collectif des années 1974. Farum est connue pour le projet Farum Midtpunkt qui tente de créer une nouvelle façon de vivre en communauté. Le projet inclut une combination d'espaces individuels et communautaires, une architecture plus ouverte, des espaces pour enfants et des parcs, et la participation des habitants dans l'administration du quartier. Le projet fut fortement critiqué pour ses problèmes sociaux et migratoires. Farum se trouve au nord de l'île de Sjælland à l'aboutissement d'une ligne de métro qui la relie à Copenhague en 32 minutes.

Le Fuggerei est la plus vieille cité sociale ouvrière au monde. Elle a été fondée par un riche et influent banquier de la Renaissance du nom de Jacob FuggerII dit " le Riche ". Il lui a fallu neuf ans (1510-1519) pour mettre sur pied cette petite cité incluant 67 petites maisons, 6 allées, 4 portails, 1 église et 1 fontaine. Ce projet fut érigé à l'intention des résidents les plus démunis d'Augsburg. Chaque logement inclus deux ou trois pièces avec cuisinette, une entrée privée, une petite espace de jardin pour les résidents du premier niveau et un espace de rangement pour les résidents de niveau supérieur. Le 23 août 1521 Jacob Fugger établi un code de loi pour les résidents du Fuggerei. En voici les grandes lignes: Être catholique romai, Originaire d'Augsbourg, Avoir bonne réputation, Avoir un travail, À 22h00 les portails doivent être verrouillés, Faire trois prières chaque jours soit,le Notre Père, l'Ave Maria et Je crois en Dieu pour la Famille Fugger et ces descendants, Loyer au montant de 1 Mark ou 0.88 Euro par an. Les deux derniers amendements sont toujours en vigueur aujourd'hui. Les résidents intéressés à vivre dans le Fuggerei doivent patienter près de cinq ans afin d'obtenir un logement. 140 appartements dans 67 maisons,150 personnes.
